Edenderry's Richie secures parkrun personal best
The weekly Mountlucas parkrun recorded another string of significant achievements last weekend with Edenderry's Richie Farrell securing the only personal best (PB) of the morning. This was a great achievement for Richie as he only took up running earlier this year.
A number of parkrun regulars travelled to Vicarstown to take part in their parkrun, including Sinéad and Terry Wearen, with the latter celebrating a significant milestone as he completed his 25th parkrun. Also marking a major milestone in Vicarstown was Michelle Kearney, who proudly completed her 50th parkrun, joined by her dad Michael, which made the occasion even more memorable.
As always, there was a strong community spirit at the Saturday morning parkrun in Mountlucas, with local runners and visitors alike enjoying the bright conditions and the camraderie. Among the visitors were Mary and Paul Byrne who travelled all the way from Tralee in county Kerry.
