Ballinamere GAA rows in behind Lions Club Christmas Food Appeal
Ballinamere GAA Club has rowed in behind the annual Christmas Food Appeal organised by Tullamore Lions Club this year, and will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods at their club premises on Saturday, December 13 next.
Members of the public can make donations to the Lions Club Food Appeal at the designated drop off point at Ballinamere GAA Club from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday week, December 13.
The club said they are “delighted” to assist with the food appeal and said it is “a privilege to be able to give back to those in need at a time of year that can be so tough for so many.”
Among the food items that can be donated are cereals; tinned fruits, peas, bean and soups; rice; pasta; tea; coffee; biscuits; soft drinks; sugar; jams and honey.
