Free one-hour street parking in Tullamore
Offaly County Council is again offering free parking for set periods in Tullamore in December in an effort to help encourage people to come into town for their Christmas shopping.
Street parking Tullamore town centre and in council car parks is typically free for 15 mins, in a legal parking space, without displaying a valid parking ticket.
That free period has been extended to one hour starting from Monday of this week, December 1, and continuing until Wednesday, December 31.
As a result, members of the public can park for up to one hour without purchasing a parking ticket. The one-hour free parking, in a legal parking space, will apply to all parking zones below.
Offaly County Council issued a reminder that, if continuing to park, a parking ticket must be purchased and displayed after the hour free parking period has expired as per the zoned rates below.
