Kelly's Toymaster ready to meet all of your Christmas toy needs
KELLY'S Toymaster in Tullamore has everything you need for under the tree this Christmas season.
The business was founded by Ray Kelly and his wife Breid over four decades ago, and is now being managed by the couple's two sons, Adrian and Ian. Prominently located on Church Road, the family-run business is steeped in Tullamore tradition, having first opened in the town in 1975.
As Christmas fast approaches, the store remains a one-stop shop for all your children's toy needs this festive season.
With only three shopping weekends remaining before Christmas, Ian has witnessed an increased footfall through the store, a vast array of toys on offer to the Tullamore and wider Midlands community.
Kelly's Toymaster is synonymous with its Lego offering, Ian citing its increased popularity due to the expansion of its product range.
"Lego appeals to children of all ages. We pride ourselves on the Lego we have in store. We always aim to hold a large selection, particularly at this time of year. Lego have expanded their product offering, the boutique, icon and architecture range, proving popular with children of all ages," Ian said.
The "old classic favourites" are proving popular toys for girls this festive season.
"Dolls, teddy bears and jewellery gift sets are appealing to girls this Christmas and we have a wide variety to choose from in store," Ian said.
Meanwhile, farming toys remain a firm favourite with boys this Christmas, in particular "tractors and trailers".
Ian said that the store's sports product offering continues to prove popular, with boys in particular this festive season, showing an affinity for the suite of boxing items on display at Kelly's Toymaster.
"We have also noticed that there has been an uptake in the purchase of outdoor sports products. Ride-on electric toys, in particular, are proving to be extremely popular for children of all ages," Ian added.
Operating from a spacious, bright premises on Church Road, Kelly's Toymaster offers plenty of free parking for customers, allowing them to browse in comfort before making their purchases.
Now 50 years in business, Ian extended a heartfelt thanks to the loyal customers who have continued to support Kelly's Toymaster since it first opened.
As the countdown to Christmas continues, Ian stated that the store will open for longer hours to meet the demand of the local public for its appealing selection of toys this festive season.
"Our extended opening hours will be publicised on our social media channels in the coming days," Ian added.
