John Lee's Bar supports Movember with 'shave off'

In support of the Movember charity, John Lee's Bar Tullamore hosted a 'shave off', fundraising €900 for the global movement which focuses on men's mental health and prostate cancer awareness.

Volunteers had their hair, beards and moustaches shaved off for the cause by local barber duo Mikey and Amy from The Hairy Barbers on Friday night last as the bar attracted a large crowd to watch the fundraising 'shave off'.

Some of those who had their beards and hair shaved by barbers from The Hairy Barber in aid of Movember charity.

Movember encourages men to be proactive about their health and sparking conversations. It's a year-round charity tackling big health issues by funding research and supporting programs for men's wellbeing.
