Offaly images feature in GAA photo book recapping 2025 season

Some eye-catching Offaly GAA photos are included in the 29th edition of A Season of Sundays, which was officially launched this week by GAA President, Jarlath Burns.

A dependable fixture on the book release calendar, A Season of Sundays, sponsored by Forvis Mazars, is described as "the definitive visual chronicle" of the GAA season.

On each of its 180 pages, the book captures the passion, drama, and community spirit that makes GAA so special, with this year’s edition featuring football legend and GAA GPA Player of the Year, David Clifford, on the cover.

Speaking at the launch, the book’s publisher, and Sportsfile owner, Ray McManus, said: "They say that a picture paints a thousand words, and I believe this year’s edition of A Season of Sundays does dispense tins of paint!

"Our photographers have travelled the thirty-two counties of Ireland, London and New York to capture what was a brilliant series of games.

"I am grateful to the Sportsfile staff, to Alan Milton in the GAA, who has added some fine captions top the photographs, and to, Forvis Mazars for their support, without which, the project would not be possible."
