Garda appeal after man (60s) is seriously injured in Offaly road collision

Gardai have issued an appeal for witnesses following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Offaly yesterday (Tuesday) which resulted in a man in his 60s being hospitalised with serious injuries.

The incident happened at Killaderry, Daingean, at approximately 12:10pm on Tuesday.

The male driver and sole occupant of the car was subsequently brought to Tullamore hospital for the treatment of injuries that were described as "serious" by Gardai.

An appeal was issued this evening (Wednesday) for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling at Killaderry, Daingean, between 11am and 12:20pm on Tuesday, December 16, are being asked to make it available to Gardai.
