Lions Club welcomes hospice planning decision

Tullamore Lions Club, this week, welcomed the unanimous decision of the 19 members of Offaly County Council, to vote in favour of amending their County Development Plan, to allow for the building of a Midland Regional Hospice, at Arden Lane, Tullamore.

The club, through Hooves4Hospice, who raised awareness and fundraised €1.2m towards the provision of this project now look forward to the HSE being in a position to proceed with the building of this long awaited and much needed facility for the people of the midlands as soon as possible.
