Tullamore Tradfest to return this March

The highly anticipated Tullamore TradFest 2026 is set to take place this March.

Running from Friday, March 27, to Sunday, March 29, the festival will bring a weekend of incredible traditional Irish music and cultural celebrations to the heart of Tullamore.

With a variety of concerts, workshops, album launches, and free family entertainment, this year’s festival promises something for everyone.

The festival’s main venue will be the iconic Bridge House Hotel, where several exciting concerts will take place.

On Friday, March 27th at 8pm, the opening concert will feature Tara Breen, Jim Murray, and Pádraig Rynne and the HUP!. The evening will also celebrate the Kinsella Family, who will be inducted into the Offaly 'Hall of Fame' for 2026, honoring their long-standing contribution to Irish music.

On Saturday, March 28 at 5pm, CUAS will take the stage, featuring Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich (accordion and vocals), Nicole Ní Dhubhshláine (concertina & flute), Niamh Varian-Barry (fiddle, viola & vocals), and Kyle Macaulay (guitar and bouzouki).

They’ll be joined by the Ryan Family and performances by the Group Ensemble Workshop participants, led by Rebecca McCarthy-Kent.

Later that night at 10pm, Peter Street, featuring Keelan McGrath, Fionn O’Hanlon, John Paul Reynolds and Simon Crehan, will perform, supported by Ciara Tighe, Cara, Jane and Molly Walls, and Laura Jo Callaghan.

Beyond the concerts, the festival will also feature workshops, recitals, and free events for all ages, making it a perfect outing for families.
