Art, mindfulness and music at Offaly libraries
Tullamore, Birr and Edenderry libraries will be havens of creativity in the coming weeks as they offer art, mindfulness and music classes to adults as part of their “Be Well, Be Creative” programme.
The programme, which runs from mid-January to mid-March, offer a welcoming and inspiring space for the community to explore creativity, learn new skills, and connect with others as a new year begins.
Research has shown that participation in cultural and creative activities can have a significant positive impact on overall health and wellbeing. With that in mind, the Be Well, Be Creative programme invites adults of all ages and backgrounds to discover and nurture their creative potential through a diverse range of art, mindfulness, and music workshops.
These special events complement the vibrant calendar of ongoing library activities in library spaces across Offaly, including adult book clubs, conversational Irish classes, author visits, and more.
