Live In The Marquee returns with three upcoming dates
A series of new dates have been announced for the popular 'Live in the Marquee' music series at JJ Killeen's in Shannonbridge.
Locals can enjoy a night of brilliant music and dancing this coming February Bank Holiday Weekend, as Michael English and band take the stage on Saturday, January 31.
Michael is no stranger to Shannonbridge, having performed in the marquee twice in 2025. He will be supported by none other than Paddy Treacy, aka Banjo Paddy, on the night. Tickets are still available, and are priced at €22.50 plus booking fee.
Continuing the Bank Holiday fun, Jamie McIntyre is coming to Shannonbridge for a sold-out gig on Sunday, February 1, with special guests to be announced.
In May of this year, Live In The Marquee will present 'Boyzlife', a night of the greatest hits from internationally acclaimed bands Boyzone and Westlife.
The show will see Keith Duffy of Boyzone and Brian McFadden, formerly of Westlife, performing together on the Sunday, May 3, at 8pm.
The duo's tour dates come after the success of 'Old School', a 2022 album from Boyzlife featuring new songs and paying homage to their iconic boyband eras.
"To put together a set list and was easy because we had so many hit songs; every song we do is a hit song," Keith said.
"We started off playing small venues and now we’re doing these beautiful theatres around the country. We have a full live band behind us. We’ve got all the bells and whistles: pyro, special effects... We do the whole thing now.”
Tickets for the highly-anticipated show are priced at €39 plus booking fee, and can be purchased at https://secure.tickets.ie/Listing/EventInformation/46750/live-in-the-marquee-boyzlife
These shows are over-18s events, and attendees may be required to show ID (driver's license, Garda / PSNI ID or passport).
'Live in the Marquee' concerts have proven popular since they got underway in 2024 by revisiting the spirit of the legendary Shannonbridge Carnival of the 1960s and 1970s.
Last year, the performances included dates by Nathan Carter, ABBAesque, Rebel, the 'Live Forever' Oasis tribute band, All Folk'd Up, Louise Morrissey and Ruaile Buaile.
