Tullamore GAA confirms senior management roles
Tullamore GAA has confirmed the reappointment of Paul McConway and Shane Hand as the club's respective senior football and hurling managers for 2026.
Having been appointed to the role in January 2025, long serving club player McConway enjoyed a successful first year at the managerial helm.
Tullamore completed a hat-trick of county senior football championship titles and advanced to the semi-final of the Leinster competition where they were defeated by eventual champions Ballyboden/St Endas.
Stephen Rochford is returning as part of McConway's management team. The high profile Mayo coach remains in situ as Tullamore go in search of a fourth championship crown later this year.
Meanwhile, Shane Hand has also been ratified by the club's executive for the new league and championship seasons.
Surprisingly replaced as Kilcormac-Killoughey manager following their championship success in 2024, Hand returns for a second year as senior hurling manager.
Aiming to retain their championship status in 2025, Tullamore were close to advancing to the quarter-final stage of the competition and will be targeting further progression this year.
