Championship schedule confirmed for Offaly camogie team
The confidence gained from winning the 2025 All-Ireland intermediate camogie title will be put to the test in this year's senior championship when Offaly start their campaign in May.
Fixtures for the 2026 Glen Dimplex Senior Championship have been confirmed by the Camogie Association with Offaly having a home fixture against Wexford in their opening game on the weekend of May 23/24.
Placed in Group 2 for the senior camogie championship, Offaly will play five round robin games prior to the knockout phase of the competition in July.
Offaly's second outing is an away fixture against Limerick on the weekend of May 30/31 before a meeting with Kilkenny on June 6/7.
There is then a two week break before they resume their championship campaign at home to Dublin on the weekend of June 20/21.
The Faithful County's final Group 2 fixture takes place on the weekend of June 27/28 when they host Clare.
Offaly must finish in one of the top two places in Group 2 to advance to the quarter final stage of this year's senior camogie championship.
The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Finals Day will take place in Croke Park on Sunday, August 9.
Meanwhile, the reigning Division 2A champions will start their Division 1B league campaign with an away fixture against Wexford on the weekend of February 14/15.
Under new manager Jack Maher, who takes over from the successful David Sullivan, Offaly are entitled to approach the challenge of both league and championship competitions with confidence.
