This weekend at Mountlucas parkrun, there was a fantastic turnout of 108 participants enjoying the winter conditions on the popular Offaly course. There was plenty to celebrate on the morning, with a large number of personal bests recorded and several milestone club members taking part.

First across the line was Luis Iemma, who delivered an impressive performance to finish in 20:10, earning a new personal best in his 10th parkrun. He was followed closely by Conor Grehan, also recording a PB of 20:51, while third place went to veteran runner Edward O’Loughlin, a member of the 100 Club, who finished in 22:37.

In the women’s field, Catherine Bennett led the way, finishing fifth overall in 23:12. The experienced parkrunner, who has now completed an incredible 241 events, continues to be a regular standout at Mountlucas.
