Nerney’s Hooley in the Sun

Declan Nerney’s award-winning Hooley In the Sun is an annual week-long musical holiday event held in the sunshine of southern Spain Casta del lux and one of the biggest highlights in the Irish country music calendar.

From September 21 to September 28, the festival returns to the Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel in Costa de la Luz, Huelva, Spain, offering a full week of high-quality entertainment, social fun and community-style craic.

This all-inclusive trip combines travel, accommodation and performances into one package. Participants stay for seven nights at a four-star hotel on a half-board basis, with flights, from Belfast and Dublin checked baggage and transfers included in the price.

Each evening there are two live stages featuring Declan with a lineup of top Irish entertainers, including Derek Ryan, Robert Mizzell, Philomena Begley and many more delivering country, folk and popular music.

Beyond the evening shows, daytime activities such as poolside performances and dance classes help keep the atmosphere lively and engaging for all ages.
