Tullamore Harriers U17 girls claim Leinster Indoor Relay bronze

Tullamore’s U17 Girls delivered a superb team performance to take bronze at the Leinster Indoor Relays on Sunday, February 1.

The girls clocked an impressive time of 1:54 in the 4 x 200m, a massive three-second improvement on last year’s personal best.

The team, made up of Fayth Byrne, Chloe McGowan, Roisín Cotter, Ellie Finlay and Samia Akbar, will now progress to the National Championships.

The team expressed their best wishes for a speedy recovery to Maddie Deverell, who was unfortunately injured just two weeks before the competition.
