Tullamore's Tolü 'loved' dancing to KPop anthem on this week's DWTS

Tullamore singer-songwriter Tolü Makay 'loved' dancing to a KPop anthem on this week's Dancing With The Stars.

The theme was "Boy Bands versus Girl Groups", and saw Tolü and pro partner Maciej Zięba dancing a Salsa to “Boombayah” by BLACKPINK.

They received a total of 36 points, the second highest of the night. Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins and Leonardo Lini were the highest achievers, with 39 points.

The contestants then split into two teams to compete in a group dance.

On Team Laura, Laura and Robert, Katelyn and Leonardo, Niamh and Stephen, Stephanie and Ervinas, Tolu and Maciej danced to “Spice Up Your Life” by The Spice Girls.

On Team Jennifer, Jennifer and James, Eric and Arianna, Jordan and Rebecca, Paudie and Laura, Philip and Daniela and they danced to “Relight my Fire” by Take That.

Team Laura was the winner with 39 points.

Niamh Kavanagh became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the competition.

Next week is the 100th episode of Dancing with the Stars, airing on Sunday, February 22, from 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
