Offaly Hospice Foundation receives almost €14k from Tullamore Harriers

Offaly Hospice Foundation received a generous donation of almost €14,000 from the Tullamore Harriers.

Tullamore Harriers AC raised €13,851.90 for Offaly Hospice following its annual Hospice Mile event held on Christmas Day 2025.

Members of the club, past and present, along with friends, family and many people visiting Tullamore for Christmas, took part by walking the mile or part of it at the club’s stadium. Participants donated generously in support of a cause that plays a vital role in the local community.

The cheque was formally presented to Offaly Hospice Director Prof. Humphrey O'Connor, who expressed huge gratitude to Tullamore Harriers for the outstanding sum raised and for the tremendous effort involved by everyone in the club.

The funds raised will contribute to the ongoing work of Offaly Hospice in providing essential care and support to patients living with life-limiting illnesses, helping them and their families through extremely challenging times.
