Milestones, milestones, milestones!
A beautiful sunny morning greeted the participants at Mountlucas parkrun this weekend with a number of participants sporting green colours for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Over 80 participants and volunteers took part on a morning where there was lots to celebrate.
There was an array of milestones with Paul McNamee completing his 50th parkrun, Colin Geraghty (who had travelled from Knocknacarra) completing his 100th parkrun, John Byrne (who had travelled from Cabinteely) completing his 200th parkrun, and Martina Lawlor completing her 250th parkrun.
Both Paul and Martina have completed every single one of their parkruns at Mountlucas parkrun. Paul's daughter Pippa completed a new personal best (PB) time on the day, benefitting from the adrenaline of her father's milestone.
Martina brought lovely goodies to mark the occasion of her 250th parkrun and she was joined on the finish line by her family and friends.
After the event, Martina said: "I am delighted with my achievements today, and I am over the moon that my family got to share in my milestone."
