Tullamore's Tolü Makay heads on tour after reaching DWTS final

Tullamore's Tolü Makay is preparing to head on tour, following her recent success in reaching the Dancing With The Stars final

The Nigerian-Irish alternative soul pop singer will perform at The Sugar Club in Dublin on Thursday, November 26 as part of her 'People Still Cry In Summer' tour.

Tolü has performed across Europe and the US. Highlights include opening for Disclosure at Guinness’ inaugural festival, and supporting Gabrielle in the 3 Arena.

She also starred in an RTÉ Documentary alongside Lewis Capaldi and Niall Horan, and performed for the President of Ireland at his 80th Birthday.

Her song 'Aye' was featured in the series Conversations with Friends. She has also featured on The Late Late Show, The Tommy Tiernan Show and Dancing with the Stars in 2026 where she made it to the Final.

Her breakout moment came from a cover of “N17” that went viral, moving Graham Norton to tears.

This also led to her performing in the John F. Kennedy centre in Washington. In 2025, Tolü released her EP “People Still Cry in the Summer”.

Tickets are priced at €31.50 each, and are available via singularartists.ie now.
