Midlands TY ball in Tullamore proves a sell-out success

The organisers of the Midlands TY ball, which took place at the Palace nightclub in Tullamore earlier this month, have hailed it as "an incredible success".

The event on April 3 was completely sold out, welcoming TY students from schools across the Midlands who came together for an evening of style, celebration and entertainment.

Organisers DEBSireland said that, "following overwhelming demand and the buzzing atmosphere on the night," it had already made tickets for The Midlands TY Ball 2027 available for sale.

Students entered the 2026 event with a red carpet experience featuring a live bongo player, and the night included entertainment from DJs, school awards, and the crowning of "TY Royalty" with crowns and tiaras.

The night also featured best-dressed awards, a karaoke competition and a spectacular pyrotechnic display.
