Offaly farms to host international scholars as part of global agri event
Two Offaly farms are set to host international scholars as part of the 2026 Nuffield Agri-Summit programme.
Ireland will take centre stage in global agriculture on Friday, May 22, when it hosts the 2026 Nuffield Agri-Summit at Killashee House Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare.
It will be the highlight of the 14th Nuffield Triennial, a nine-day study tour hosted by Nuffield Ireland for Nuffield Irish and International alumni around the island of Ireland.
Visits to Tullamore Farm near Tullamore and Bord na Móna’s Mountlucas Wind Farm will form part of the international study tour.
Led by Nuffield Ireland, the summit will bring more than 300 global delegates, including senior figures from agribusiness, policy and economics, to Ireland for one of the year’s most significant agriculture forums.
Economist David McWilliams will headline a strong international speaker line-up, alongside contributors such as Simon Coveney, Ksenija Simovic, Marie Donnelly and Professor Rogier Schulte.
Under the theme “Feed the World – Our Responsibility?”, discussions will focus on food security, sustainability, geopolitics and the role of agri-food systems in a changing global landscape.
Tickets for the 2026 Nuffield Agri-Summit, including the gala banquet, are €175 and are expected to sell quickly. To register your place, visit www.nuffield2026.com
