Tullamore Harriers represented at London Marathon

The London Marathon saw history being made as Kenyan long distance runner Sabastian Sawe broke the world record for the 26.2 mile distance with a time of 1:59:30.

Two Tullamore Harriers members were amongst the 59,000 field and crossed the finish line at The Mall with impressive race times.

Running in very warm and humid race conditions, Eoin Brennan posted a time of 2:45:35, while fellow club member Jonathan Dunne crossed the finish line shortly after in a time of 2:47:00.
