Mountlucas parkrun regular Sinéad completes her 50th!
This week's Mountlucas parkrun saw one of its regulars, Sinéad Wearen, complete her 50th parkrun.
She crossed the finish line, and ran through the special '50 parkruns' finish banner, beaming from ear to ear.
Sinéad became a regular at Mountlucas parkrun in January 2025 and has fast become a firm favourite of the event's core team of volunteers.
Speaking after the event, Sinéad said: "It was lovely being supported by the parkrun community in Mountlucas. It was lovely to share it with my husband Terry and our two colleagues from when we served in the Defence Forces."
Mountlucas parkrun takes place at Bord na Móna Mountlucas windfarm every Saturday morning at 9.30am sharp.
