Tullamore D.E.W. and O’Neills launch limited-edition jersey
Two of Ireland’s great makers are coming together once more as Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery and O’Neills launch a limited-edition jersey celebrating Irish craft, community and pride of place in Tullamore town.
Following strong interest in the original collaboration, the partnership returns with a public jersey release that brings together two historic Irish brands rooted in skill and tradition, available both online and at the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery gift shop from Wednesday, May 6.
Located in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands, Tullamore is synonymous with craft. The Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery stands as a modern landmark of the town. It is an employer, a gathering place and a continuation of the whiskey-making tradition that stretches back more than two centuries.
As one of the few working cooperages on the island of Ireland, Tullamore D.E.W. has been shaping spirit and barrels for generations, just as O’Neills shapes fabric into jerseys that carry identity, pride and belonging.
The partnership celebrates craft, recognising craft. O’Neills has long been woven into communities across Ireland and beyond, producing sportswear that represents teams, towns and traditions.
In much the same way, Tullamore D.E.W. has built its reputation on craftsmanship passed through generations, from grain to glass at its distillery just outside the town.
Speaking on the collaboration, Sophie O'Neill, Global Ass. Brand Manager of Tullamore D.E.W. said: “This collaboration means a great deal to everyone at Tullamore D.E.W. There are clear parallels between what we do and what O’Neills represents, with both brands built on craft, care and pride in where we come from. Just as an O’Neills jersey represents community and identity, our whiskey represents the town of Tullamore and the people behind it. Bringing these two traditions together feels like a natural fit.”
Alison Perry, Marketing Manager at O'Neills, said: “This partnership with Tullamore D.E.W. is a natural fit for O'Neills. Both brands are rooted in Irish heritage and craftsmanship, and this jersey is a simple way of bringing those worlds together. We’re delighted to see it available at the distillery, where people can experience that connection first-hand.”
The limited-edition jersey will be available to purchase on the O’Neills website and at the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery from Wednesday, May 6.
