Tickets for 2026 National Ploughing Championships in Screggan on sale now
Tickets have gone on sale today (Wednesday) for this year's National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore.
Taking place from Tuesday, September 15, to Thursday, September 17, the 2026 event marks the second year in a row that the National Ploughing Championships will take place in Tullamore, after the 2025 Ploughing Championships were hosted at the same Screggan site.
An estimated 225,500 people attended the 94th National Ploughing Championships in 2025, which included everything from the welly-throwing competition and horseshoe throwing, world-class livestock, to an incredible range of exhibitors showcasing everything from candles, food, and clothes to tractors and machinery.
Ticket for each day are priced at €30 for adults and €25 for senior citizens or secondary school students.
A special price available of €27 each is available for groups of 10 or more people, while school groups can avail of €20, with complimentary teacher tickets available depending on the size of the group.
Campervan site tickets for the event are priced at €60, and must be accompanied by entrance tickets.
Children Under 12 are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets purchased are non-refundable.
If tickets are not pre-booked, the price to pay at the gate is higher (€35) on each of the three days. Tickets will only be available at gate if event is not sold out.
