Tullamore Credit Union staff enjoying the Streetfeast

'Fantastic turnout' for Tullamore's second annual street feast

There was a 'fantastic turnout' at Tullamore's second annual street feast event last Sunday.

The event was hosted by Tullamore Chamber, Tullamore Credit Union, and Offaly Public Participation Network (PPN) in Tullamore's O’Connor Square on Sunday, May 17.

Organisers described the gathering as "a truly memorable celebration in the heart of Tullamore" and thanked all those who attended despite wet conditions on the day.

"We were delighted to welcome a fantastic turnout, with visitors embracing the spirit of the day and enjoying some activities on offer," said Tullamore Credit Union.

On the day, visitors could taste food samples from The Brewery Tap, enjoy an array of children’s entertainment such as face painting and hair braiding, and experience the live music of Tullamore Tradfest.

Paw Patrol favourites Marshall and Skye were said to be "a big hit" with younger attendees at the event.

A competition which gave shoppers a chance to win Tullamore Quid vouchers by sharing their receipts was also held.

Winners included James Dooley, Michael Murphy, Verona Burgon, and Joe Brophy.
