Will Faulkner to address Founders’ Friday event
Midlands 103 and South East Radio Managing Director, Will Faulkner will be the special guest for Founders' Friday in Eugene Kelly's pub, Tullamore, on Friday, June 12, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Sponsored by Allpro Recruitment in association with Tullamore Rotary Club, this Founders' Friday is the final event before the summer break, and offers local founders, business owners, professionals and community leaders a rare chance to hear from one of the Midlands’ best-known media voices not just as a broadcaster, but as a business leader operating in a fast-changing commercial media landscape.
Will Faulkner may be best known as the voice of Midlands Today, but at this Founders’ Friday in Tullamore, the focus will be on his other major role, Managing Director of Midlands 103 and South East Radio, and the business strategy behind one of the region’s best-known media brands.
He will discuss his role in the commercial radio business, growing audiences, navigating acquisitions, protecting local identity, and building sustainable media brands at a time when traditional media is facing major disruption.
Faulkner has been a central figure at Midlands 103 for more than two decades and is now Managing Director of two of Ireland’s leading local radio stations. His professional profile highlights operational and strategic business experience, team leadership, communications, marketing and award-winning broadcasting.
The event will also touch on Midlands 103’s expansion story, including the acquisition of South East Radio, and the importance of keeping local voices and local content at the heart of commercial radio.
