The film was made possible through FilmOffaly's Short Film Award, with organisers highlighting the achievement as the second consecutive year that a bursary recipient has secured a place in the renowned festival programme.

Written and directed by filmmaker Megan Murphy and produced by Conor McCormick, Bigfoot Lover tells the story of Cute, a heartbroken and lonely woman struggling to break free from self-destructive patterns in her love life. Her world takes an unexpected turn when she meets Bigfoot.
