Offaly band announces new Irish dates after Dublin and Belfast sell-out

Having sold out upcoming shows at Dublin's Vicar Street and Belfast's Limelight venues, Offaly band Chasing Abbey has announced a winter tour for Ireland.

The band, formed in Tullamore by childhood friends Ronan Bell, Jonathan Byrne and Ted Conway, is currently enjoying a lengthy world tour that has sold out many venues across the globe.

Now, the band, known for its explosive fusion of electronic production and Celtic influences, has announced it will play venues in Cork, Derry, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford to complete a hectic recent schedule. Before then, the band will also perform two acoustic sessions at record stores in Dublin and Galway to promote its upcoming new album 'Cyber Celt', which is due for release on Friday, September 18. The in-store performances in Galway and Dublin will take place on September 20 and 22 respectively, with venue details to be announced. The band's current world tour will continue until mid-December when it concludes in Australia. Their show at Dublin's Vicar Street will take place on September 17, followed by a performance in Belfast the following evening.
