Offaly producers take home seven Blas Na hÉireann awards
Offaly producers have taken home a total of seven titles at this year's Blas Na hÉireann awards.
Now in its 19th year, Blas na hÉireann, The Irish Food Awards is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland with hundreds of entries in over 170 food and drink categories.

Bon Chocolatiers were the biggest local winners of the day, taking home Silver in the 'Chocolate Collections' category for its Signature Collection.
The Tullamore-based company also received the title of 'Best in Offaly'.
Garryhinch Wood Exotic Mushrooms took home the 'Chef's Larder' award for its Shittake & White Beech product. The award recognises versatile, high-quality ingredients, pantry staples, and star products.
Offaly businesses took home four Bronze awards, including Pigs on the Green's Bronze in the 'Pork - formed and prepared' category for its Fennel and Chili Italian Meatballs.
Killeigh-based Quarrymount Free Range Meats received bronze in the Sausages - Other Meat category for its Organic Beef Sausage, while Glenisk took Bronze in the 'Dairy Yogurt (flavoured)' category for its Signature Taste Organic Slated Caramel Yogurt.
The Bogs Dollop's, meanwhile, took Bronze in the 'Savoury Pantry – Dressings' category for its honey and mustard salad dressing.
