Repair works to cause water supply disruption in Rhode

Uisce Éireann has given notice of a planned disruption to the water supply for Rhode and surrounding areas of Offaly next week.

The utility said pump repair works are scheduled to take place in the area from 9am until 3pm on Monday, December 1.

It said supply disruptions are likely in "Hillview, Rhode and surrounding areas" while the works are being carried out.

"We recommend that you allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return," Uisce Éireann added.
