Foster and Allen celebrate 50 years in music with Tullamore concert

To celebrate the incredible milestone of 50 years in the music business, Foster and Allen will be bringing their brand new show to the Tullamore Court Hotel on Saturday, January 31 next as part of their nationwide tour.

The tour of Ireland – which gets underway later this month and continues until next March, will see the hugely-successful Midlands musical duo perform all their hit songs at venues the length and breadth of the country.

Their tour is called “50 Years of Hits,” and it will feature every one of the songs that made them famous – songs like Old Flames, Maggie After All These Years, Bunch of Thyme, I will Love You All My Life and countless other hits.

To coincide with their 50th anniversary in music, Foster and Allen released a new album called “50 at 50” earlier this year, and they will be performing some of these new songs on their tour.

The fourth single from this new album, “Lady of Knock,” is due for release this month and will be accompanied by the release of a video for the song which was recorded inside the Apparition Chapel in Knock.

Alongside their nationwide tour and the new album, Foster and Allen are back again on TG4 with their TV series which began last night (Monday, December 1) at 9pm and continues right through the month of December.

Offaly fans of Foster and Allen can join them to celebrate their 50th anniversary in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Saturday, January 31 next, for a very special concert.
