Revised wind warning for midlands

Met Éireann has issued a revised storm warning for this region.

The new yellow warning for wind comes as Storm Bram is expected to bring very strong to gale force south to southwest winds. The peak winds are expected to become confined to west and northwest counties later in the day.

The revised yellow warning now covers from 6am to 9pm for the entire country. It replaces a warning issued earlier today, which spans from 3am to 9pm

Meanwhile, an orange warning for wind for Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford from 7am to 3pm, and for Clare, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 10am to 9pm
