Tullamore Pitch & Putt Club issues statement welcoming hospice vote

Tullamore Pitch & Putt Club has issued a statement welcoming the news that all 19 elected members of Offaly County Council have voted in favour of the proposal to pave the way for planning permission for the new Midlands Hospice at Arden Lane, Tullamore.

The statement, which was posted on the club's Facebook page, reads as follows:

We would like to put on record that we are delighted to welcome the news that all 19 County Councillors have voted in favour of the proposal to pave the way for planning permission for the new Midlands Hospice at Arden Lane, Tullamore.

Having a dedicated hospice in the Midlands is vitally important, and it is extremely encouraging to see this much-needed regional facility being located here in Offaly. This decision represents a major step forward for patient care and support for families across the region.

The Midlands Hospice project has the full and unequivocal support of Tullamore Pitch & Putt Club. As immediate neighbours, we are proud to welcome the hospice to our community and very much look forward to being good, supportive neighbours for many years to come.

We sincerely hope that everyone can now unite behind this vital project so it can proceed without any further delays, ensuring this essential service is delivered as quickly as possible.
