Tullamore's Tolu Makay dazzles judges in Dancing With The Stars debut

Tullamore singer-songwriter Tolu Makay wowed the judges with her dazzling debut on Dancing With The Stars, which kicked off last night (Sunday).

She and her pro partner Maciej Zięba performed a sizzling Samba to “Hello” by Sigala, Leigh-Anne, and Jonita Gandhi. The pair earned an impressive 27 points, securing the fourth-highest score of the night.

The ninth series of the show welcomed a fresh face to the judging panel, along with a new presenter and three new professional dancers. The stage was set for a thrilling season of jaw-dropping performances and fierce competition.

The twelve celebrity contestants, paired with their pro dancers, joined the four judges, Oti Mabuse, Brian Redmond, Arthur Gourounlian, and Karen Byrne, who opened the night with a vibrant group dance to We Are Family by Cedric Gervais x Nile Rodgers.

Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Jennifer Zamparelli and Laura Fox.
