Owners issue appeal in bid to find dog missing in Offaly for last month

The owners of Milo, a miniature dachshund who has been missing in Offaly for over a month, have issued a public appeal as part of their efforts to find him.

The dog is a three-year-old neutered male miniature dachshund, with black and tan colours. He was last seen on the bog road leading to Derryounce Lakes and Trails on the outskirts of Portarlington on December 14 at 2pm.

"We are asking people to keep an eye out and ask any friends or neighbours to do the same. We're worried he has been picked up by someone who may not know we are looking for him!" say Milo's owners

A Facebook group has been set up in an effort to gather any more information. People who might know of the dog's whereabouts are asked to or call Ruanne, on 087 9657049, or contact the Facebook group.
