Offaly School of Special Education has extended warm words of thanks to the Tullamore branch of the Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland for their very generous donation of €1,200.

The money, which was raised through a recent fundraiser was presented to Ed Graham Principal and Tríona Hanley from the Offaly school by Tony Saunders and Brian Mac Eoin, on behalf of the Midlands National Shooting Centre.

In a Facebook post, Offaly School of Special Education said it was "incredibly grateful" for the support shown to the school by the club members.

"On behalf of our students, families and staff, thank you to everyone involved for your kindness and generosity — it truly makes a difference" said the post.
