Investigations ongoing into road collision in Clara that left two pedestrians in hospital
Investigations are ongoing into Wednesday's evening's road collision in Clara, which left two teenage pedestrians receiving hospital treatment.
Gardai today said a man, in his 40s, arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and who was being detained at a Garda station in Offaly, has been released.

The serious road traffic collision occurred on the Tullamore Road in Clara, shortly after 6.15pm, involving a car and two pedestrians.
Local off duty paramedics and the local fire service crew were quickly on the scene of the collision and treated the teenager until the arrival of the ambulance.
One of the pedestrians, a female in her mid-teens, was treated at the scene and subsequently removed to CHI Crumlin.
The second pedestrian, a male also in his mid-teens, was brought to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area of Tullamore Road, Frederick Street and Bridge Street, Clara, at the time of the collision are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
