Kira wins 'Artist of the Month' accolade

A talented artist and student at Colaiste Naomh Cormac in Kilcormac has been named as 'Artist of the Month' for a magnificent piece of art work which was inspired by her pet cat.

Kira Koval has been congratulated by her school, who said that her expressive print was based on a picture of her pet cat at home. The semi abstract print was made from cutting a linoleum block and using block printing ink on paper.
