Founders Friday to spotlight Offaly entrepreneur Paul Mahon

AllPro Recruitment will host a special edition of its popular Founders Friday event on Friday, March 6, from 6pm to 8pm at Eugene Kelly’s Bar, Tullamore, as part of Enterprise Week 2026.

Delivered in collaboration with Offaly Local Enterprise Office and supported by Tullamore & District Rotary, this Founders Friday aligns with this year’s Enterprise Week theme, Make It Happen, by showcasing a founder from Coolderry, who has done exactly that.

The featured speaker is Paul Mahon, Founder and CEO of Watt Footprint, an innovative energy technology company helping organisations reduce energy costs and carbon emissions through smart, data-driven solutions. With strong Offaly roots, Paul’s journey from engineer to scaling a fast-growing tech company reflects the ambition and resilience within the Midlands business community.

Founded by AllPro Recruitment, Founders Friday is an in-person networking event designed to give founders, business owners and leaders access to honest, unfiltered stories from those who have built and grown successful companies.

On the night, Paul will share the realities of launching Watt Footprint in 2020, navigating growth in a rapidly changing energy market, securing investment, and expanding beyond Ireland while staying connected to his local roots. Attendees will gain practical insight into innovation, leadership and what it truly takes to scale a business in today’s environment.
