Cliona Hagan and her band are coming to Birr next month

Cliona Hagan will be coming to Birr to showcase her country-style music next month. The Tyrone singer is performing at the Birr Theatre & Arts Centre on Sunday, March 29, at 8pm.

Cliona first grabbed the nation's attention when she became a finalist on RTE's 'The All Ireland Talent Show', and from there she was able to establish her music career with her debut album in 2016 called 'Straight To You'.

Since then she has toured all across Ireland and the UK to sold-out audiences. She has earned awards for her vocal talent and has supported acts such as Nathan Carter and Derek Ryan.

In 2019 she took to the dancefloor in 'Dancing With The Stars', with her partner Robert Rowinski, where she twirled her way to the final of the competition.

With a fresh energy, new music and exciting projects including her Dolly Songbrook Tour last year, which was a tribute to the music of Dolly Parton, and the Sizzle In The Sun music experience in Marbella this April, Cliona shows no signs of easing up.

In 2022, the Tyrone native married a fellow musician, Simon Sheerin, in a high-profile wedding which was covered on BBC One Northern Ireland. Her husband is a member of the Sheerin Family Band from Westmeath.

The Sheerins have performed all across the Midlands, bringing great crowds, and have played with major acts like Daniel O' Donnell and also Nathan Carter to name a few.

Tickets for Cliona's concert are available at www.birrtheatre.com and cost €27 plus booking fees. Doors open at 7.30pm and it promises to be a great show full of exciting energy.
