Tullamore Camera Club's monthly competition for February drew a record 46 entries.

The competition, which had an open theme, was won by Jackie Morrissey with her photo "Sanctuary in a Storm" which was taken at Lockeen Church, county Tipperary.

The external judge, Terry Conroy from Portlaoise, chose Emil Cohrt's moody image of Sliabh Liag cliffs in Donegal as his winning photo.

Finally, the committee's selection to go forward to the 'Photograph of the Year' competition was Marie Kearns' capture of a Dunnock taken in the garden.

Tullamore Camera Club's next meeting will be held in Offaly History premises at 8pm on Thursday, March 26.
