Leinster Scór success for three Offaly teams

There were celebrations on Saturday last as Offaly competitors in Senior Scór celebrated winning three Leinster titles.

The first team to win was the formidable Edenderry GAA quiz team which won its third consecutive Leinster title, beating Kildare by a single point in the end.

Next up were the amazing Birr GAA figure dancers, who secured a 7th consecutive Leinster title. They danced St Patrick's Day with their usual poise and elegance and will now go on to defend their All-Ireland title.

The Shamrock's GAA Ballad Group sang beautifully with haunting and enchanting harmonies and secured this group's first Leinster title.

Offaly also had representation in the solo-singing section, and Ballycumber's Aimee Leonard acquitted herself very well with her version of 'A Bhríd Óg Ní Mháille'.

The very best of luck to the three provincial winners from Offaly in the All-Ireland which will take place in The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on April 25.
