Ruaile Buaile to perform at Easter 'barn dance' in Shinrone
Offaly band Ruaile Buaile will be performing in their home county this weekend by headlining a 'Barn Dance' in Shinrone Community Centre on Saturday night (April 4).
The popular five-piece will be supported by The Buckleys, and there will be a DJ to follow.
However, in a social media message, the band advised those hoping to attend to act fast.
"Please note, this is a ticket-only event and there are very few remaining!" Ruaile Buaile said. Tickets, priced €30 including booking fee, can be purchased on Eventbrite here.
Ruaile Buaile formed in 2011, and ten years later world renowned musician Cathal Guinan (Fiddle) joined the band, followed by Seán Bourke (banjo) in 2023.
Along with original members Niall Kelly (Vocals and Guitar), Jack Godley (Percussion) and Shane Lynam (Vocals and Bass), the quintet are entertaining audiences with a bigger-than-ever sound.
Doors will open for the show in Shinrone at 7.30pm on Saturday. Note: This is an over-18s event and ID is required for entry.
