Community Greenhouse Workshop to take place in Ferbane

A Community Greenhouse Workshop is set to take place in Ferbane next week.

Qualified horticulturist Siobhán Lavelle will host the event on Friday, April 17, from 1.30 to 2.30pm at the Heritage Centre, Ferbane.

Discover what it’s like to eat your own home-grown veg and create your own beautiful summer hanging baskets from seed.

Learn all you need to know about seed-sowing to start plants off strong.

The workshop will focus on pollination or friendly and drought-tolerant plants, in this fun, friendly, interactive workshop organised by Ferbane Tidy Towns and supported by Pobal.

The workshop is completely free of charge, and all are welcome.
