Proposal to turn former Edenderry pub and nightclub into housing units

A planning application has been submitted to Offaly County Council has proposed turning a former pub and nightclub premises into housing.

The application for the premises at 29 JKL street in Edenderry was submitted by Leonard Noone on Friday, April 10.

Plans include the demolition of the pub and nightclub structures to the rear of the premises, and the construction of two residential blocks that will contain two two-bed ground floor apartments and four two-bed duplex units in each block.

The works will also include parking, bins storage, bike racks, landscaping and all associated site works and services for the development.

A decision is due by Thursday, June 4.
