'Farming in Ireland' book to be launched in Cloghan this month

A new book focusing on the resilience, complexity, and quiet transformation of Irish agriculture will be launched in Cloghan later this month

The book will be launched in Cloghan Hall on Thursday, April 30, at 7pm.

'Farming in Ireland - Crisis and Climate' gives an oral history from the Irish Midlands by Pat Brereton.

Pat (Paddy) Brereton was born in 1958 and raised in Cloghan, together with his two brothers, Alo and Tommy, who remain farming in Ballyloughan.
