Textile Reuse Roadshow to take place in Esker Arts this May
Tullamore’s Esker Arts will host the Textile Reuse Roadshow on Saturday, May 9, offering the community a hands-on opportunity to explore sustainable fashion.
The free, drop-in event encourages participants to rethink their wardrobes by swapping clothing items they no longer wear and learning simple upcycling techniques.
Organised by Offaly County Council, the initiative aims to combine creativity, community engagement, and practical climate action. Attendees can discover how textile reuse not only reduces waste but also opens up new opportunities within local communities.
The event promises inspiration, new skills, and a chance to see firsthand how small changes in clothing habits can contribute to significant environmental impact.
