Tullamore Town seek FAI U17 Cup final spot

Tullamore Town will look to secure a place in the FAI U17 Cup Final on Saturday afternoon when they host Dublin team, St Joseph's in Leah Victoria Park at 2pm.

Yet to taste defeat this season, Tullamore have advanced to this stage of the national competition courtesy of three away wins over Freebooters (Kilkenny), Leeds United (Cork) and Salthill Devon (Galway).

Their form is equally impressive in the Combined Counties Football League (CCFL) where they have already claimed the league title and progressed to the semi-final of the CCFL Cup.

With a place in a national final on the line, the club has called for supporters to "get down to Leah Victoria Park" and "back the team".

"This team has shown consistency, character and quality all season. Now they have the chance to take it even further".
